Dean Butler --

Documentary Film Producer, Writer, and Director.

Why I am a Marauder

My creative life has been focused around the telling of heroic stories that touch and inspire people’s lives.  Such stories exist everywhere—from  historic fields of battle to the most out of the way back roads of the human experience.  Regardless of nationality, race, politics, or gender we benefit collectively from hearing and remembering them.

The tragedy of WWII MIAs left six decades ago on the field of battle and the mission of Moore’s Marauders to bring them home to a final resting place with their families on American soil is heroic and compelling, both

in the nobility of the task and the emotional reward of the accomplishment.

I am proud to be associated with the work of Moore’s Marauders and I look forward to sharing with audiences all over the world the great stories they will uncover honoring a distinctly American tradition of service and sacrifice for the benefit of others.
