Dr. Ballendorf has been a visiting professor
in Germany, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and for the first quarter of
2007 has been invited to lecture at Kagoshima University in Japan.

In connection with his research, Dr.
Ballendorf was recently interviewed on The History Channel’s “Deep Sea
Detectives.”
