Why I am a Marauder
My Dad was in the Army. I grew up a military brat, when you travel around like we did you
learn quickly that the most important thing in life is family.

We jumped around the Southern states, we celebrated the South. Hospitality is number one in my Mom & Dad’s home.
We lived surrounded by a vineyard in Italy, my sister & I went to school with Italian children, picked grapes, chased the pigeons in St. Mark’s square & visited Juliette’s real balcony.
My mom always made the best of where ever we lived, learning & later teaching me to cook the local favorites.
We later wound up in Utah; the world seems a little more orderly. Life consisted of great friends, family, snow & lots of baseball.
The sun was calling my name so I moved on to the beautiful state of Arizona. I think this is my favorite place so far but I am biased. I met the love of my life here, I get to share everyday with Matt and our two crazy little dogs.
Everywhere I went help make me who I am today but more important than where I lived were the
things my parents taught my sister and me:
Everyone can make a difference.
If you can help someone, do it.
Surround yourself with good company, they make you look better.
Be passionate about what you do.
Give 100%.
Working with the Marauders allows me to do these things. The Marauders are ultimately working
toward keeping a promise that has been made to our men and women of the military and also
keeping that promise to their families. I am able to be part of a legacy that makes a
difference to more people than I will ever realize and make my family proud.
