Why I am a Marauder

I was born and raised on Tinian in the Northern Marianas very near the site of the greatest U.S. base of WWII in the Pacific.

Our family was poor and our first house was made from left over war materiel

the U.S. left behind.

My dad's first "car" was an old military duece and a half that was used for many years. I used to play with old war things - and sometimes just sit there and try to imagine who they belonged to and what they were like.

I became a marauder because of my history here - and a really strong desire to try and find out more about "who" and "what" these people that saved my home were like. It gets into my soul, too!
