Roger Leonard

E.R. Nurse, Lance Corporal United States Marine Corps (Ret.)

Why I am a Marauder

To be one of Moore’s Marauders, offers me a chance to repay those that came before me. Those that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, for our freedom,

Roger L. Leonard; RN. EMT. Former Lance Cpl. USMC

and for good, in the world.

I feel it an honor to help bring closure to the family and friends of our fallen hero’s, and to let them know that their loved ones are not forgotten and will never be forgotten as long as there are groups like ours willing to forgo the hardships and sacrifices to keep searching.

I feel that we lost not only human lives in World War II, but also a way of life. A way of life that can never be recaptured except by keeping their memory’s alive. We can do this by honoring those that served and got lost and those that made it home but are still lost without their neighbors, their brothers, their loved ones, their buddies.

About Moore's Marauders...

Moore's Marauders is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding. We rely solely on your contributions to help us locate the 35,000 WWII MIAs the U.S. government maintains are still recoverable.

For as little as 30 cents a day, you can help us bring home the thousands who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live in freedom. Donate today.
